We Are
Eradicating Adult Illiteracy Across India
The Rotary Club of Bombay is conducting a pioneering initiative aimed at making adults functionally literate. In a society plagued by poverty and gender inequality, we believe that literacy is the catalyst for positive generational change.
Our Free Adult Literacy Program reaches out directly to villages. We appoint dedicated teachers to impart not just reading and writing skills, but also the confidence to navigate daily life—from reading public signs to maintaining household accounts.
